Duration: 8 Days
The learner will need to successfully complete both the theory and practical components of the course. The first two days cover the theory work and the remaining days are solely devoted to the practical tasks listed below.
- Relevance of OHS and Pressure Equipment Regulations.
- Theory of Vapour Compression Cycle.
- Refrigerants and their properties.
- Use of Refrigeration hand tools.
- Gas weld with Nitrogen.
- Pump down and/or recover refrigerant.
- Carry out repairs.
- Pressure test system.
- Evacuate system.
- Recharge process.
- Commissioning report.
- Fault find.
- Air-conditioning Service procedures.
